Lorne Gladu receives Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree
Dr. Chris Andersen, the Dean of the Faculty of Native Studies, introduced Lorne Gladu for an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree, the University of Alberta’s highest honour, at the June 14 Convocation Ceremonies in Edmonton.
Dr. Gladu has been a “builder in the field of Indigenous education,” Dr. Andersen said. “We celebrate his visionary leadership which will have a positive impact on the lives of Métis people and Métis communities for generations to come.”
