Early Learning Education Childcare Training (ELECT)
The ELECT program teaches participants authentic Métis ways of being and helps early learning educators weave appropriate Métis education into their early learning centres. The ELECT participants were selected using specific criteria to experience Métis culture, knowledge, and traditions by attending authentic Métis education-filled weekends at Métis Crossing, attending weekly virtual instructional meetings, and completing two online certificate courses.
RCTL also provides support for preschool funding. This includes a subsidy of up to $75 a month. Students must be Métis learners. Register on the waitlist via the RECC room.
RCTL is starting to develop authentic Métis resources for our early learners and their educators. Check them out at the links below!
