The course is specially designed to help employers of Métis individuals understand our rich culture and heritage so they can foster a healthier work environment.

As part of RLI’s Apprenticeship Service Program (ASP), diversity & inclusion training must be offered for all employers taking part in the ASP. It is optional, but highly encouraged. The course is presented by RLI and administered by Edified.

As this program is the first of its kind, the program is open to all employers who work with RLI. While it is slightly trades focused, the program will present valuable information about Métis culture for all. There will also be a Moodle course component after the initial seminar for employers to continue their education on how to be a more inclusive workplace.
