Métis Language and Culture Libraries

Rupertsland Centre for Teaching and Learning partnered with research interns at Werklund School of Education to develop two online Métis Language and Culture Libraries for all people to access.

Michif Language Resource Academic Library (Zotero)

• The Métis Language and Culture Academic Library is hosted within Zotero, a powerful Academic tool for collecting and organizing research information and sources. It includes references to a variety of resources, including everything from books, articles, reports, video links, sound recordings, and many other items. Each item includes information about the resource and how to access it.

Michif Language and Culture Community Library (LibraryThing)

• Community Library
• The Métis Language and Culture Community Library is an easy-to-use library platform hosted through LibraryThing. Everyone is welcome to use the search bar, click through tags, or browse the collection of a variety of resources, including Métis-centric books, articles, reports, video links, sound recordings, and many others. Each item includes information about the resource and how to access it.
